What We Believe

  We believe that the Bible is the word of God, infallible, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.   We believe that there is one living God and true God, eternally existing in three persons; That these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, Providence and redemption. We believe that justification is the act of God by which he declares man righteous. The righteousness is apart from the any virtue or work of man and involves the imputation of our sins to Christ and the imputation of Christ righteousness to us. We believe that sanctification is the experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set up part to God's purposes, and is enabled to progress towards moral and spiritual maturity through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. Growth and grace should continue throughout the regeneration of the person's life. 

Therefore, having been regenerated unjustified, we believe that in the daily life of the believer they are being progressively conformed to the image and likeness of Christ. In this respect every saved person is involved in a daily conflict the new creation in Christ doing battle against our flesh, the indwelling sin. 

Those who are genuinely saved will preserve to the end of the battle against flesh.
